Role Overview:
Lead 12-week online Cantonese language courses for different levels of learners. The instructor will help students build confidence in speaking, listening, reading, and writing Cantonese, while inviting students to reflect on the cultural and political significance of Cantonese, exploring it across colonial histories, migration, and global Cantonese-speaking communities.
Please note that there is no homework grading and no exams. You can assign optional homework, but you don’t need to correct students’ homework or answer students’ questions outside of classroom teaching time. (Other part-time instructors and/or instructors in training will be assigned to provide homework correction and answer students’ questions.)Ideal Candidate should have:
Experience teaching or tutoring Cantonese as a second language, in classroom or online group class settings
Availability to teach students based in Eastern Time Zone

Role Overview:
Lead 12-week online Spanish language courses for different levels of learners. The instructor will help students build confidence in speaking, listening, reading, and writing Spanish, while inviting students to reflect on the many worlds of Spanish (e.g. colonial and anti-colonial histories), engaging with its diverse voices across Latin America, the Caribbean, and beyond.
Please note that there is no homework grading and no exams. Experience teaching or tutoring Spanish (any of Colombian varieties) as a second language, in classroom or online group class settings

Role Overview:
Lead 12-week online Korean language courses for beginner and intermediate learners. The instructor will help students build confidence in speaking, listening, reading, and writing Korean, while introducing cultural contexts that shape how the language is used today. Through the instructor’s teaching, students will also be encouraged to reflect how language, identity, and history connect across Korea’s colonial past and its global present.
